solihull rubbish

they are putting up last years' Christmas decorations

When I first saw these Xmas decorations about 6 years ago around the metropolitan borough of Solihull, I was charmed by their gawky crudity and gauchness, but now I am fed up and bored by them, they should be changed every year.

The town's gardeners really do well with the floral displays in the spring, summer and autumn but this is way below standard for a town which educates a few artists.
