I did some gardening, then rode the railroad to Helsingør, Gilleleje, Hillerød and back to Copenhagen

the construction of the new permanent way at Hellerup continued and I used my handicam too (short numbers to pictures) to document the modern methods where a gang of 20 does the work of 75 men in the old days.

I found myself approaching Hillerød so I used my cell phone to arrange a vsit to my to fellow writers nearby

whilst visiting Apple shops to get a connection from my MacBook Pro to an older Sony television



and when I got home in my garden I attacked the dead bamboo roots with an ax



at one point I fell over backwards when a rootlet came loose




Finally I sat on my home made bench and had some beer and listened to the blackbirds singing after sunset


The pretty snail was my only companion - no doubt a descendent of those I rescued when these houses were modernised 12 years ago and the original Brumleby gardens obliterated
