mostly shopping
new crane, some gardens in Bosworth Drive, Woolworths, optician and LIDL - a photoset on Flickr
but it was a thrill to see from my kitchen window a tower crane - a "railway in the sky" - being erected
IPFA: "The four-school scheme will deliver cutting edge design solutions for the reprovision of Smith’s Wood School (1400 pupils), Park Hall School (1400 pupils), and Lanchester School & Pupil Referral Unit (90 pupils). Archbishop Grimshaw is a traditionally funded design & build, with the other three schools funded through PFI. The phased building programme commences in March 2007 with Park Hall, Archbishop Grimshaw and Lanchester Schools operational in September 2008 and Smith’s Wood operational in September 2009." I chose not to ride the elevator today

I don't want to miss my flight again
So I made a trial run to CPH, and afterwards planted the rose and snapped some of my good neighbours in Brumleby - a photoset on Flickr
great excitement
a test METRO train pulling into the new airport station at CPH
it has no driver so the software is being tested until 28 Septemeber 2007

packing
packing, shopping and clearing up, and a slug laying eggs - a photoset on Flickr
first empty the suitcase
yes before you pack you need to completely unpack,
I have been living out of suitcases for about 62 years
boarding schools, engineering college, army , travelling musician .. and as a european.
When you pack, you pack from the outside inwards - everthing must touch an outside edge of the case - wisdom from my aunty Kitty - and you get more in.
